Charlotte, NC: 1320 Thomasboro and 4401 Hovis Road

Working with Self Help Credit Union, the city of Charlotte, Federal HUD Neighborhood Block Grant, and Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds. Kennadian Investments proudly turned several apartment buildings into purpose-built affordable housing. Not only did we build housing above the standard for affordable housing at the time, but in partnership with Goodwill construction, we trained many neighbourhood residents in various construction tradecrafts.

This project is a pillar of social investing and a success we hope to expand in Charlotte and abroad. We are currently exploring our U.S. partnership efforts to include bidding on Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) RFPs administered by State Agencies.
